At 8.00 am, Our (Seba Tours Egypt) tour guide will escort you from your hotel by the air conditioned vehicle to Giza Plateau where you will visit the marvelous 3 Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren ,and Menkaure , then a visit to the human headed lion statue which is called (The Sphinx) or (Abu el Hol) And witness the Valley Temple of King Chephren beside the Sphinx. The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world that still exists up till now.
Then, proceeding your trip to visit the recently inaugurated National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), which is located in Fustat, the first Egyptian capital after the Arab Islamic conquest. The museum's outdoor spaces, designed to emphasize the unique location overlooking Lake Ain El-Sira, the last natural lake in Cairo.
The permanent collection is divided into two separate regions, one chronological and the other thematic. The Chronological area will include amazing pieces from the following eras: Archaic, Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Medieval, Islamic, modern and contemporary. The Thematic areas will be the following: Down of civilization, The Nile, writing ,state and society, material culture, Beliefs and Thinking and the Mysterious Gallery of Royal Mummies which have been recently transferred from the Old Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square to the New National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
After ending the visit to these two remarkable landmarks in Egypt, you will be transferred to visit one of the Great and Stunning constructions in Islamic Cairo “The Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby”. Which is located near Mokattam Hill. It was established in 12th century to defend Cairo against the Crusaders campaigns. The citadel was used as the ruling center of Egypt during the medieval ages. On the same area of the Citadel, you will witness the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha which is situated on the highest spot inside the courtyard of the Citadel of Saladin. It’s considered one of the landmarks in Cairo with its huge space, the beautiful ornaments on its sides and walls, and its magnificent domes and minarets.
After ending this amazing tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
