At 7.00 am, Our (Seba Tours Egypt) tour guide will pick you up in an air conditioned vehicle to go in "around 4hours" driving trip" about 360 km to Bahariya Oasis , we will stop in the middle of our way at a rest house for a little bit to get refreshed and have something to eat or drink, then we will proceed towards the oasis.
Upon arrival to Bawiti city in Bahareya “around 11.30 am”, you will go in a tour to the most fabulous monuments around the city which was one of the major agricultural centers during ancient Egypt. We will visit The Valley of the Golden Mummies dating back to the Greco-Roman era .They were discovered in 1996 and their number is more 250 well preserved mummies.
After that heading to witness the ruins of “The Temple of Alexander the Great”; as it’s believed that Alexander the Great visited Bahariya during his return from his visit to the oracle of Amon at Siwa oasis. There are some scenes representing Alexander as an Egyptian Pharaoh.
Ending our tour by visiting the English Mountain (Gebel Al Ingleez) also known as Black Mountain. It was used by English Soldiers at The World War I, You will witness their residence and there are some remnants of their buildings there.
Also, you can get some relaxing time and swim in one of the Hot Springs at Bahareya oasis.
After that going back to the vehicle to start travelling back to Cairo, dropping off at the hotel in Cairo.
