Private Overnight Camping Trip to Bahareya Oasis & White Desert

In the early morning at 7.00 am, (Seba Tours Egypt) tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to travel towards Bahareya Oasis (about 350 KM distance, and 4 Hrs. Driving) , you can stop in the middle of the desert road at a Rest house , to take a quick refreshment , and you can pick something to eat or drink or go to toilet , before proceeding to Bahareya Oasis.

Once you arrive to Bawiti (Central town of Bahareya) we will change the normal vehicle by another 4× 4 air conditioned safari vehicle and meet our local Bedouin guide and driver who will escort us to the must-see spots of the desert.

You will start with a stop at the High Sand Dunes near Bahareya, then heading to the Black Desert territory which is a vast area of sandy plains and mounts covered with black stones and minerals like coal and iron. This area was created due to the actions of the volcanoes which are dating back to the prehistoric period,

T we will continue our way until we stop in the Black Desert territory where you will see a sandy mountain covered with black stones and minerals like coal and iron ,it's called "El Marsos Mountain" . We will take some photos to the area which was created by the actions of the volcanoes which are dating back to the pre historic period.

After that going to have Picnic Lunch Stop at "El Haize village"
After that proceeding to el "Agabat Valley" It’s a small valley of unusually beautiful mountain formations. Here, the white cliffs common to the White Desert meet the dunes and the yellow limestone rocks of Sahara.
The Last Stop before camping at White Desert will be at Crystal Mountain .It is not really a mountain, rather a rock or ridge. But "crystal" is a correct description, and a stop here is definitely worth the time. Resembling the crystals of the Superman movies, the quartz crystals manage to fascinate most visitors.

After that heading to the White Desert. It is truly white, in clear contrast with the yellow desert elsewhere. At night,it gets a character reminding of an Arctic landscape or like the surface of the moon. The rock formations of the desert are often quite dramatic, and you should not miss out on the weird rock balancing on top of a white pillar, Human heads, Chicken and Mushroom shapes.

While the Bedouin guide and driver unpack the Camping equipment, you can observe the changing faces of chickens and mushrooms and monoliths as the bright sun of the afternoon sinks into a shadowy dusk. As the sun goes down, the calcium sea seems to reflect all the fuchsias and oranges of the sky. And while any night under the stars of the Western Desert is an experience not soon forgotten.

After that you will taste the delicious Bedouin Barbeque dinner, around a fire circle watching a magnificent scenery of the sky full of stars, observing the shooting stars and smoking hookah if you want. And you can exchange talking with your Egyptologist guide and the Bedouin about the history and culture of this area while you take a sip of the exquisite Bedouin tea, then going to sleep in a tent in the desert overnight.
