Our TripAdvisor Reviews
In the early morning, our driver will pick you up from your hotel by the air conditioned private vehicle towards Cairo airport to take the one hour flight to Luxor.
Once you arrive to Luxor Airport, our (Seba Tours Egypt) tour guide will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall building of the airport to escort you by a modern air-conditioned private vehicle in a tour around the land of monuments, which is considered as the "world's greatest open-air museum".
We will begin our trip by a visit to the Theban Necropolis at the West Bank Starting with a visit to the Valley of the Kings which was the burial site for the famous kings such as the Child King Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses I, and other kings of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties.
Then Moving on to visit The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built for the Eighteenth dynasty Queen Hatshepsut , one of the greatest rulers. The Temple is known as "the Holy of Holies”. Its architecture design is unique . It is considered one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt.", The relief sculpture within Hatshepsut’s temple recites the tale of the divine birth of a female pharaoh. The text and pictorial cycle also tell of an expedition to the Land of Punt..
After that you will take a Photo Stop at the two Colossi Statues of Memnon . They are two gigantic statues representing King Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt.
We will Continue our amazing tour among the history of Thebes , by crossing the Nile River to visit the remarkable Temples of the East Bank, Starting with the Complex of Karnak Temple which is a Cult temple dedicated to the Triad of Thebes (Amun, Mut and Khonsu), It is the largest religious building ever made. Which was developed from the middle Kingdom era till the Ptolemaic era. It’s actually a complex of many temples at one area, and each temple is dedicated to a specified god.
Then, heading to the second temple at the East Bank, Luxor Temple which was the focus of one of the most important religious festivals in ancient Egypt - the annual Opet Festival. There are different scenes on the walls representing the celebration of the festival. The temple has been in almost continuous use as a place of worship right up to the present day. During the Christian era, the temple’s hypostyle hall was converted into a Christian church, and the remains of another Coptic church can be seen to the west. Then for thousands of years, the mosque of Sufi Shaykh Yusuf Abu al-Hajjaj was built over it. This mosque was carefully preserved when the temple was uncovered and forms an integral part of the site today.
After ending this amazing trip among the ancient Egyptian Civilization in Luxor, you will be dropped off at Luxor International airport to catch the flight back to Cairo.
Upon arrival to Cairo Airport, and get outside the arrival hall, you will find our driver waiting for you to pick you up back by the private vehicle to your hotel in Cairo to stay overnight.
