In the evening around 22.00 , You will be picked up by a modern air conditioned vehicle with (Seba Tours Egypt) tour guide in your way towards St. Catherine’s City “around 3 Hrs. Driving” (220km).
After reaching the area after midnight, Your local Bedouin guide will accompany and lead you to climb Moses Mountain “Sinai Mountain” where Prophet Moses received the Ten commandments from God. The Mountain of Moses is considered to be that biblical peak. The peak is accessible by the steps, or by a gentler path east of the monastery. There are small religious chapels above the summit of the mountain. After reaching its peak around 7.00 am, you will witness the beautiful scenery of the sunrise above the peak of the mountain, and take some gorgeous photos.
After that, you will start descending down, to visit St. Catherine Monastery. the monastery is one of the oldest working Christian monasteries in the world. It is controlled by the autonomous Church of Sinai, part of the wider Eastern Orthodox Church, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s built on the site where Moses (Prophet Musa) talked to God in the miracle of the Burning Bush, and to climb Mt. Sinai, where Moses has received the Ten Commandments. The monastery was named after Saint Catherine at the beginning of the 11th century in honor of saint Catherine, one of the earliest Alexandria Christians martyrs . The area contains several monuments like the burning bush seen by Moses, and the remarkable Icons Gallery.
After ending this adventure, you will start your trip back to Sharm el Sheikh, and you will be dropped at your hotel to stay overnight in Sharm el Sheikh.
