About the Agabat Valley
The Agabat Valley is a place of magical beauty, one of those to which the Egyptian desert has accustomed us. It is located on the route between the Bahariya and Farafra oases, near Crystal Mountain and the White Desert, with whom it shares its unmistakable cliffs.
The characteristic that distinguishes this valley is the contrast between the large rocks of impressive white color and the golden sand surrounding them. The landscape is unique and moving due to its beauty and particularity since one can hardly imagine another place like this. And that is one of the most beautiful attractions you can find on your trips to Egypt, especially in places like this.
What kinds of sights can be seen in Agabat Valley?
Generally, every trip to the Agabat Valley should start from Crystal Mountain, on excursions with camels, or even on foot. The distance is about 10 kilometers, and it is not at all advisable to travel n motorized vehicles because the sands of this region can make it impossible for them to pass.
From there, tours have a myriad of options to choose from, with hot springs just east of the highway. The closest is Bir Regwa, a center located 33 kilometers from Farafra.
