Our TripAdvisor Reviews
In the early morning, our Eiffel (Seba Tours Egypt) tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor by the air-conditioned private vehicle towards the north of Luxor to visit the Temple of Seti I at Abydos. Abydos has a special place in the sacred landscape of ancient Egypt, as it was believed to be the place where Osiris (the God of Underworld) was buried. Thus, Abydos was an important cult center for Osiris. Seti’s temple was built mainly of limestone, though parts of it were built in sandstone. Although work began under Seti, the temple was only completed during the reign of his son, Ramesses II.
Then, on your way back to Luxor, you will stop at Dendera Temple (located about 50 KM north of Luxor and 4 KM from the Nile River). Which is a Magnificent Temple of Goddess Hathor, Goddess of Love, Maternity and Music in ancient Egypt. The Temple is one of the best-preserved temple complexes in all of Egypt. The Temple of Hathor is the largest and most impressive buildings in this religious complex, and is visually stunning with its grand entrance, detailed carvings, hieroglyphs, and decorated ceilings.
Then, after finishing the visit of Dendera Temple, you will proceed your way back to Luxor, and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Luxor.
