Itinerary

Day 1 Aswan Sightseeing / Felucca Ride Friday:

Upon arrival to Aswan Airport or Aswan Railway Station, our (Seba Tours Egypt) tour guide will be waiting outside to pick you up to visit Aswan's High Dam which is one of the most important achievements of the last century in Egypt .It Contains 18 times the material used in the great pyramid of Cheops and It provides Egypt with the water and electricity and secures the country from the destructive inundation of the Nile River.

Then you will take a motor boat to visit the Temple of Isis at Philae which its construction started during the reign of Ptolemy II and completed by the Roman emperors. And it was dedicated to goddess Isis which was considered the mother of god and she is the mother god Horus and the consort of God Osiris.

Then, you will be transferred for the Nile Cruise Embarkation (Mövenpick Royal Lotus). having lunch, and have some rest and refreshment

Afternoon you will go in A Felucca ride around the islands of Aswan and (Kitchener’s Botanical Garden where you will see different beautiful types of subtropical, exotic, and rare plantings and Elephantine island which is the largest island of Aswan area, Elephantine is Greek for elephant as It is believed that the island received its name because it was a major ivory trading center. There are different monuments which were excavated in the island like the ruins of a temple dedicated to the ram god Khnum “God of water". Elephantine was considered as cult center for god Khnum

Then going back to the Nile cruise to have dinner on board and enjoying some oriental or Nubian shows. And stay overnight on board on Aswan.

Day 2 Sail to Kom Ombo + visit the Temple / Sail to Edfu + Sightseeing Tour / Sail to Luxor Saturday:

In the early morning after Dawn time, you will start sailing towards Kom-Ombo…Enjoy the navigation along the Nile river while you have your breakfast , and take some beautiful photos to the magnificent scenery on both sides of the Nile.

Once the ship stops at the Dock of Kom Ombo , you will go to visit the temple which is located on the bank of the Nile river, and you will reach it on foot (around 5 minutes walking from the boat). Kom-Ombo Temple which is an unusual double temple constructed during the Ptolemaic period; due to the conflict between Sobek and Horus, the ancient Egyptians felt it necessary to separate their temple spaces within one temple. The Kom Ombo temple has two entrances, two courts, two colonnades, two Hypostyle halls and two sanctuaries, one side for each god, The Southern part for the Falcon god "Haroeris", while the northern part for the Crocodile god "Sobek". The reliefs showing the medical tools (surgical instruments) is among the most intriguing features of the temple. It can be found in the building’s rear, in the passageway that surrounds the main area.. At the time the relief was carved, Egyptian medical science was almost certainly the most advanced in the world.

Then, you will get back to the ship, and get ready for your lunch meal, while you will proceed your sailing towards Edfu.

You will reach Edfu around afternoon, and our tour guide will accompany you to experience one of the authentic Horse-Drawn Carriage rides on your way to Edfu Temple. And upon arrival , you will start your visit to this Ptolemaic Temple and one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt. the temple is dedicated to Falcon God Horus, the avenging son of Isis and Osiris. The ancient Egyptians believed that the temple was built on top of the location where the infamous battle of Horus and Seth took place. It is an excellent example of traditional Egyptian elements with Greek influences mixed in. The walls of the temples have many beautiful reliefs depicting many stories from the ancient Egyptian mythology. The Temple was the center of several festivals sacred to Horus.

Ending our tour to Edfu temple and going back to the cruise, having the dinner and enjoy entertainment show and proceed to sail to Luxor overnight.

Day 3 Luxor Arrival / Day Tour on the West Bank of Luxor Sunday:

You will have your breakfast on board after reaching Luxor city, then our Seba Tours Egypt tour guide will escort you towards the Theban Necropolis at the West Bank Starting with a visit to the Valley of the Kings which was the burial site for the famous kings such as the Child King Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses I, and other kings of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties.

Then Moving on to visit The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built for the Eighteenth dynasty Queen Hatshepsut , one of the greatest rulers.  The Temple is known as "the Holy of Holies”. Its architecture design is unique . It is considered one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt.", The relief sculpture within Hatshepsut’s temple recites the tale of the divine birth of a female pharaoh. The text and pictorial cycle also tell of an expedition to the Land of Punt..

After that you will take a Photo Stop at the two Colossi Statues of Memnon . They are two gigantic statues representing King Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt.  

Once the tour is complete, you will be transferred back to the Nile cruise to have your dinner meal, and spend some beautiful time while watching entertainment show, and overnight in Luxor.

Day 4 Disembarkation / Tour on the East Bank of Luxor Monday:

You will have your breakfast onboard. Then Disembarkation, and our Seba Tours Egypt professional tour guide will escort you from the Nile Cruise to start a tour to visit the remarkable Temples of the East Bank, Starting with the Complex of Karnak Temple which is a Cult temple dedicated to the Triad of Thebes (Amun, Mut and Khonsu), It is the largest religious building ever made. Which was developed from the middle Kingdom era till the Ptolemaic era. It’s actually a complex of many temples at one area, and each temple is dedicated to a specified god.

Then, heading to the second temple at the East Bank, Luxor Temple which was the focus of one of the most important religious festivals in ancient Egypt - the annual Opet Festival. There are different scenes on the walls representing the celebration of the festival. The temple has been in almost continuous use as a place of worship right up to the present day. During the Christian era, the temple’s hypostyle hall was converted into a Christian church, and the remains of another Coptic church can be seen to the west. Then for thousands of years, the mosque of Sufi Shaykh Yusuf Abu al-Hajjaj was built over it. This mosque was carefully preserved when the temple was uncovered and forms an integral part of the site today.

After ending this adventure within 4 Days / 3 Nights, you will be dropped off at Luxor Airport or Railway Station, to catch your flight or Train to …Wishing you a safe trip.

Day 1 Luxor (East Bank Tour) Monday:

Upon Arrival, at Luxor airport or Luxor railway station, Our Seba Tours Egypt tour guide will wait for you outside holding a sign with your name or our company’s sign, then pick you up by the air-conditioned private vehicle to visit the two Massive temples on the eastern bank of the Nile. The first one is the Karnak Temple Complex which comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. The building at the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic Period. It's a vast open-air museum and the second largest ancient religious site in the world. It's mainly a place to worship the Theban triad (Gods Amon, his consort Mut, and their son Khunso).

The Second Temple is Luxor Temple it is believed that one of the ancient Egyptian festivals was held inside the temple as there are different scenes on the walls representing the celebration of the festival. Its inner part was built by King Amenhotep III while the outer part was built by King Ramses II. After entering the temple you will find a mosque called (Abu Al-Haggag) was built on the ruins of a church which were built inside the temple. To the rear of the temple there are chapels built by King Thutmosis III and Alexander the Great.

Then going for the Nile Cruise embarkation (Mövenpick Royal Lotus) to have lunch, enjoy folkloric show, having dinner and stay on board overnight in Luxor. 

Day 2 Luxor (West Bank Tour) Tuesday:

You will have breakfast, then you will be picked up to visit the archaeological sites of the ancient Egyptians on the west bank of the Nile including (Valley of the kings where you will see the well preserved tombs belonging to the kings of the new kingdom such as the great ruler Ramses II and the child King Tut Ankh Amon,The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut it's called "the Holy of Holies"..it is one the best architecture buildings ..it consist of three levels connected with each other by ramps and has different scenes on its walls depicting the divine birth of the Queen and her Commercial expedition to  Punt Land. The temple is mainly dedicated to worship the supreme god Amon-Ra  ,and the 2 Colossi of Memnun which are two massive statues representing King Amenhotep III in a seating Position).

Then going back to the floating hotel to have lunch, enjoy folkloric show and start sailing towards Edfu and stay overnight on board sailing 

 Day 3 Edfu - Kom Ombo Sightseeing Tour Wednesday:

In the morning after finishing the Breakfast meal, our tour guide will accompany you to experience one of the authentic Horse-Drawn Carriage rides on your way to Edfu Temple. And upon arrival , you will start your visit to this Ptolemaic Temple and one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt. the temple is dedicated to Falcon God Horus, the avenging son of Isis and Osiris. Day 4 Sail to Aswan -Abu Simbel Tour (Optional) / Felucca Ride Thursday:

You will spend some Leisure Time on board during the Day Time.

In the early morning, (Note: You will request a Breakfast box to take it on the go before starting the tour), You will be picked up from your Nile Cruise in Aswan by the modern air conditioned vehicle with your Egytologist tour guide to start your trip towards Abu Simbel (around 3 Hrs. Driving) where you will visit the breathtaking two temples which were originally cut into a solid rock cliff, and built by the Great Egyptian King Ramses II. The relocation of the temples was a historic event in the 1960's. At that time, the temples were threatened by submersion in Lake Nasser when the High Dam was constructed. The Egyptian government with the support of UNESCO launched a world wide appeal to save these colossal landmarks. They were successfully dismantled and relocated to a spot 60 meters above the cliff where they had been initially built. The more famous of the two temples is dedicated to Ramses II and the smaller one to his favorite wife Nefertari. They were both built by Ramses II in the 13th century BC.

After ending this amazing trip, you will be transferred back to Aswan (around 3 Hrs. Driving) , and upon arrival afternoon, you will be dropped off at the floating hotel to take some rest and have your lunch on board.

Afternoon, around the Sunset time, Seba Tours Egypt tour guide will escort you to sail one of the authentic traditional Felucca boats along the longest River in the World "The Nile”, enjoy the fresh river breeze , and during the ride, you will see the beautiful islands of Aswan such as Elephantine island , one of the largest islands in Aswan. Its name meant both 'elephant' and 'ivory' in ancient Egyptian, a reminder of the important role the island once played in the ivory trade. Elephantine was considered as cult center for god Khnum. During your boat ride, you will witness also the island where Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens are located. It’s  peaceful paradise, full of shady trees, beautiful flowers and unusual plants. The island is a haven for rare exotic birds of many kinds and their colorful plumage can be glimpsed in the branches of most of the trees. Also you can notice and take some photos to the nearby famous Mausoleum of Aga Khan.

After this gorgeous ride, you will be transferred back to the Nile cruise to have dinner on stay overnight in Aswan. 

Day 5 Aswan Sightseeing / Disembarkation Friday :

You will have your breakfast onboard. Then checking out, and our Seba Tours Egypt Egyptologist tour guide will escort you in a day tour to visit the landmarks of Aswan, we will begin with a visit to Aswan's High Dam one of the marvels of the modern Egyptian history. It is a rock-fill dam located at the northern border between Egypt and Sudan., and tames the Nile River and utilizes the power of the river for a variety of social and economic causes. .It Contains 18 times the material used in the great pyramid of Cheops

Then, you will head the Bank of the Nile river to get into one of the motor boats to sail towards Agilika island to visit the beautiful Temple of Goddess Isis at Philae . The construction of the temple began during the reign of King Ptolemy II, and then other Ptolemaic Kings contributed by adding more parts to the main Temple. It was Saved from a watery grave by UNESCO's rescue project, which transferred the monuments block by block from Philae Island to Agilika Island. And it was dedicated to goddess Isis, the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus.

After ending this adventure within 5 Days / 4 Nights, you will be dropped off at Aswan Airport or Railway Station, to catch your flight or Train to …Wishing you a safe trip.
