Our (Seba Tours Egypt) tour guide will be waiting for you next to the exit door holding a sign with your name to pick you up from the port.
Then, he will escort you by an air-conditioned vehicle to travel to one of the cities which is located on Delta, on the banks of one of the two main distributaries of the Nile, “Rosetta” (60 km from Alexandria), which was built by the orders of the Abbasid Caliph to be a fort during the seventh Crusade on the 9th century A.D on the ruins of an ancient Ptolemaic city on the same area. It’s considered a large open-air museum for Islamic architecture.
First, you will visit Quitbay fortress; sultan mamluk Quitbay built it, where the famous Rosetta stone was discovered (1799 A.D).
Then head to Rosetta National Museum, which is considered one of the landmarks of this eternal town, built inside one of the archaeological houses which date back to the half of the 18th century, and visit some of the other landmarks of Rosetta ( Hammam Aziz, Abu Mandour mosque, and Zainab house).
On the way back, pass the archaeological houses and local Souk,” Local Market.”At the end of the tour to the Nile's mouth, enjoy watching the end of the course of The River Nile, which ends by the Mediterranean sea, and ride felucca at the Nile.
After ending the tour, you will be picked up to get back to Alexandria.
Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your cruise.
